Bernard Gloster became the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Health Service Executive (HSE) in March 2023. With over 34 years of experience in health and social services, he rejoined the HSE from the state Child and Family Agency, Tusla, where he served as CEO from September 2019. Prior to that, he held several senior management positions within the HSE, including Chief Officer of HSE Mid-West Community Healthcare. He has experience in managing both community and acute hospital operations.
