​Originally from the UK, Carole and her family moved to Tipperary in 2006. Working for the last 35 years in range of nursing, operational leadership, quality and programme management roles, both in the HSE, NHS and private healthcare, Carole’s previous role was the Chief Officer for MLMCHO  until October 1st this year when she commenced as the Integrated Healthcare Manager for the Midlands. Prior to this Carole was in the role of Head of Service Quality Safety and Service Improvement for 2 years, her first role in Community services, having moved from Acute Operations, where she led the development of national policy on the management of Delayed Transfers of Care and supporting patient flow in Acute Hospitals.  A nurse for over 35 years, she is a Lean Black belt, a graduate of the University of Limerick, holding an MSc in Strategic Quality Science, Lean/Six Sigma systems, and holds a Nye Bevan award in Executive Healthcare Leadership from the NHS leadership academy. She has a strong background in operational Leadership, clinical quality, developing a safety culture and service improvement and is an experienced project and programme manager.
