Catherine Marsh is a healthcare professional with a strong commitment to innovation and improving patient outcomes. In 2023, Catherine joined Spark Innovation as a National Nursing/Midwifery Fellow for Innovation and has since completed a Professional Diploma in Service Design with the National College of Art and Design. Formerly a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Sexual Assault in Mullingar, she became an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in 2022 through University College Dublin. Catherine led the integration of forensic photography into Ireland’s Sexual Assault Treatment Unit, supporting its implementation at the Rotunda Hospital, where the project won the 2024 Irish Healthcare Centre Award for the Best Nursing & Midwifery Project of the Year. As a National Nursing and Midwifery Fellow, she has supported and guided professionals nationwide, helping them to strengthen and expand the impact of their projects. Committed to improving systems and outcomes, she works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver forward-thinking, patient-centred innovations across the healthcare sector.
